Northern Palmira Cup

On May 5-6, 2018 in St. Petersburg, one of the largest and most colourful tournaments in Russia and Europe – The Northern Palmira Cup was held!

Every year the organizers of the tournament try to improve the level of competitions and make them more memorable!

This is demonstrated by the performances of the St. Petersburg team for Taekwon-do ITF, as well as the Hapkido Federation program of St. Petersburg.

After, there was a competition between united Saint Petersburg team and the united team from Spain. Athletes showed exciting fights and a high level of training!

More than 845 sportsmen from 8 countries of the world took part in the tournament: Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Latvia, Finland, Uzbekistan, Spain, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan. Sportsmen from 25 regions of Russia also participated: Volgograd Region, Vologda Region, Voronezh Region, Moscow Region, Novosibirsk Region , Novgorod Region, Leningrad Region, Murmansk Region, Penza Region, Pskov Region, Rostov Region, Tver Region, Tula Region, Tyumen Region, Yaroslavl Region, Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory, Primo Kray, Republic of Crimea, Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Komi, Bashkortostan, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Competitions were held at 5 rings fully meeting the European standards for conducting tournaments. Also, on all sites there was an electronic system which during the tournament never failed due to the fact that there was a special person responsible for it at each site.
